Test one, two. Test one, two. Okay this a very very very basic start to what I hope will be a productive semester.
For the first assignment we were required to do a line drawing with some connection to winter whether it be literal or metaphor. As you can tell I went for literal. Once my linework was complete I scanned the drawing into Photoshop. By using techniques learned in class I was able to do a very basic digital painting. Needless to say I encountered many technical difficulties which resulted in an almost adolescent temper tantrum (I kid). Seriously though, the macbook almost went out the window. Regardless, I'm viewing this as a starting point for what I hope will be a new and interesting art experience.
